KYLIE Jenner’s grandmother has said the reality star split from Travis Scott “because he didn’t marry her”.

The 22-year-old confirmed her relationship with the rapper was over in October of this year, after not being photographed together since August.

At the time Kylie told her fans: "Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi!! Our friendship and our daughter is priority."

Travis has not spoken publicly about the break up but sources reported that they split because he wasn’t ready to settle down.

Now her grandma, Esther, has lifted the lid on her split with Travis — and admitted she feels their relationship failed because the rapper didn’t pop the question.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Caitlyn’s 93-year-old mum, revealed Kylie called her after they called it quits after two years together and reassured her they were co-parenting 21-month-old daughter, Stormi.

Talking from her home in Lewiston, Idaho, she said: “Kylie and I keep in touch, we both have iPhones and Facetime. She puts the baby on the FaceTime and I can see her progress, she’s a darling little child.

“I was sympathizing with Kylie a short time ago about the breakup with the baby’s father [Travis].

"Kylie just smoothed over it real quickly, [saying] ‘We’re both going to be good parents to her’ like in defence almost.”

Esther feels Travis, 28, should have proposed and made more of a commitment, explaining: “But that’s what happens really, so often.

“Young people today, they think they can live together, start a family together, without being married, it doesn’t work! I don’t know.”

Asked if she met the rapper, she replied: “I never met him, I tell you who I was surprised I liked so much … Kanye. He’s very intelligent, and he’s down to earth.”

Meanwhile Kylie has been spending time with another musician – Drake.

The two were spotted getting cozy at Drake's birthday party last month, and Kylie made an appearance at his Halloween party a week later.

However sources said she "occasionally" sees the "God's Plan" rapper, 33, but she could be doing it "just to make Travis jealous."

Kylie and Travis, 28, still hang out, but their relationship "seems to be more of a friendship" these days as the pair focuses on co-parenting, according to People.

The amicable exes "talk several times a day" and plan to spend Christmas together in Houston with Travis' family.
