KATIE Price has revealed her mum is "ruthless" when it comes to interrogating her boyfriends.

According to Amy Price, her 42-year-old daughter has dated some "terrible men" and now she takes it on herself to look out for "hangers-on" and "freeloaders".

Katie is currently dating Carl Woods who Amy says "seems a good egg – so far".

"Kate’s got involved with some terrible men," she tells The Sunday Times Magazine.

"It’s the same pattern over and over. They all start off saying, 'I love your daughter, I’ll look after her,' then they live off her.

"Then there’s the hangers-on and the freeloaders. I spot them a mile off and I’ll call them out, but Kate’s got such a big heart and she’s so generous,
she can’t see what they’re doing."

Katie said her mum has "embarrassed" her "so many times" with her protective behaviour.

"She’ll turn up at my house and say to the latest boyfriend: 'Have you got a
job? Or are you just going to ponce off my daughter?'

"She is ruthless and it turns out she’s always right."

But Katie said her latest boyfriend Carl is different.

"With Carl, Mum’s already told him not to mess me around and so far he’s passed the t***er test.

"He’s got his own money, he’s not interested in fame and hates anything to do with Jordan [her model alter ego]."

Katie has been married three times, to Peter Andre 2004 – 2009, Alex Reid 2010 – 2011 and Kieran Hayler 2012 – 2018.

She has also been engaged three more times to Warren Foreman 1998 – 1999, Leandro Penna 2011-2012 and Kris Boyson in 2019.
