This Morning: Josie Gibson reveals Thailand tattoo blunder
This Morning’s Josie Gibson is reportedly feeling “sidelined and a little surprised” as Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard seems to be the frontrunner for Phillip Schofield’s replacement.
Ben joined Holly Willoughby last week to step in and present the ITV daytime show with her, wowing viewers and leaving them wanting him as a permanent fixture.
He is said to have “ruffled some feathers” behind the scenes and caused Josie to worry about her future on the show.
Since Phillip’s departure, Josie, Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary, and Craig Doyle have all stepped in to co-host the programme.
Talking about how Josie feels, a source claimed to Closer: “Josie has been doing such a good job and everyone felt as though she would be staying as main co-host for good, but it now seems producers are hesitant about making it an all-female line-up.

“There are hopes that Holly and Ben could have classic chemistry like she did with Phil. She’s just feeling unsure about what her role within the show is going to be and had hoped for more of a feeling of job security rather than being pitted against other presenters.”
Express.co.uk has reached out to This Morning and Josie Gibson’s representative for comment.
However, in a recent chat with The Mirror, Ben’s arrival didn’t seem to faze Josie as said: “I have the best job in the world.
“Holly and I have a great laugh together. The other day, she sent me a message and said, ‘This bloke has been asking after you, his name is Scott Chegg.
“And I said, ‘I’ve never heard of him, send me a picture.’ She sent me a picture of a scotch egg. I fell for it hook, line and sinker!”

With Ben reportedly set to be joining This Morning permanently, it is said he has been “torn” between leaving or staying at Good Morning Britain.
A source told Metro.co.uk: “Ben loves doing both shows, but Susanna Reid really wants him to stay on Good Morning Britain.
“Although they are on the same channel, they’re sort of rivals and both need ratings, and Ben is great at bringing in viewers.
“This Morning has had mixed ratings since Phil left, and not everyone sees Holly in the way they once did, so she needs a good partner next to her who’ll bring in ratings.”
Susanna Reid seemingly confirmed Ben’s departure from GMB during the show yesterday to Loose Women star Coleen Nolan.
She joked Coleen had “defected” from the ITV chatshow, adding: “Is it revenge for This Morning nicking Ben Shephard?”
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
