The Grand Tour: Richard Hammond on meeting for new series

This year, Grand Tour fans will see the hilarious trio head off to Central Europe on a 1400-mile journey starting from Gdańsk in Poland.

They’ll then travel through Slovakia and Hungary before their final destination, Lake Bled in Slovenia.

However, in true Grand Tour style, Jeremy, Richard and James will be getting around in some questionable cars.

Some of which include an outrageous Japanese Al Capone gangster car, a pickup that thinks it’s a convertible and G 75-year-old American micro mini.

Ahead of the series airing, Jeremy Clarkson admitted the three of them all enjoyed each other’s company while filming the new series.

He said: “I think it’s true, we did have a good laugh.

“Not James that much, because he was always three hours behind us, but when he did catch up, it was good fun.

“And when we were doing things together, like at the racetrack, or in the wax museum.

“I thought James was going to die from laughing.

The new series, which follows on from their last Grand Tour adventure A Scandi Flick, will be one of the last times fans will see the three friends together.

It comes after Prime axed any shows associated with Jeremy Clarkson after 2024.

However, when asked if he can reveal what’s next in store for the Grand Tour film, Clarkson hinted it’s going to be a hard adventure for them all.

He said: “For the next one – in fact, the next two – we’re back on the slightly scary ground, doing things that we used to do when we were in our 30s and 40s.

“But now we’re in our 50s and 60s, so I’m slightly nervous about the next two.

“Let’s just say we’re going back to Africa, and this one’s a hard one.

“It’s hard if you’re young and fit, but I’m really not fit. And I’m very fat. And I’m 63 now.”

The new series of The Grand Tour will launch on Friday 16th June on Prime Video.
