Despite the drama, Haley Stevens assures that there’s no bad blood between her and the former beauty pageant winner as the latter has reached out to her to wish her the best.
AceShowbiz -The season finale of “The Bachelorette” saw Hannah Brown getting engaged to Jed Wyatt, only to call off their engagement shortly after he told her about his ex Haley Stevens, whom he dumped before the show. Following the episode, Haley has broken her silence on the drama and apologized to Hannah for what happened.
Even though Haley should not be held accountable for Jed’s deceit, she tells E! News she still wants to say sorry to Hannah for “not fully understanding the emotions that were going to go into this show.” She adds, “I have thought about her every single day about how this must have affected her. It was heartbreaking for me and I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it is for her.”
Despite the drama, Haley assures that there’s no bad blood between them. In fact, the former beauty pageant winner has reached out to her to wish her the best. “That just shows what a class act she is to be able to step back and not hate me or have ill will for me. I most definitely know that she will find the most happiness because she deserves it after this situation,” the country songstress says of Hannah.
Haley continues, “I would love to just apologize and let her know how much I admire and respect her for what she’s been through. And for the heat she’s taken for this to be the end. So much respect for her.”
Jed and Haley started dating last fall, months before the former would be cast for “The Bachelorette”. According to Haley, Jed left her soon after they confessed their love to each other. “I never even got broken up with. Never got any explanation. I could get choked up thinking about it right now,” she said to E! News at the time. “This was the person that I was in love with… It’s devastating, honestly. It’s hurtful.”
