Filming on James Bond 25 was placed under lockdown after an explosion injured a crew member and caused damage to the set.
In a statement over the incident, it’s said a ‘controlled explosion’ took place while filming at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire which injured one crew member.
A tweet from the official James Bond account, read: ‘During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 today at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 Stage.
‘There were no injuries on set, however one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury.’
It’s unclear whether this incident will affect the film’s scheduled release date.
Metro.co.uk reached out to Pinewood Studios who stated they had no comment at this time.
According to The Sun, a member of staff was left crushed by a part of the set which fell as he stood by a ramp outside the studios.
A source said: ‘A fireball was supposed to go through the set. That was the stunt but something has gone horribly wrong.
‘There were three loud explosions, one after another, and a member of the crew was lying on the floor outside the building injured.
‘It went bang, bang, bang. The place is now on total lockdown.’
