    Tipping Point fans did a double-take on tonight’s episode (March 30) when they saw a contestant who looked uncannily like one of The Inbetweeners star’s.

    As contestant Tony joined Sophie, Sarah and Scott on the ITV show in a bid to bag a huge cash prize, viewers were left doing a double-take with his striking resemblance to actor Alex Macqueen, who plays Meil’s dad Kevin Sutherland on the hit comedy show.

    His bald head and facial structure left fans dubbing the likeness uncanny.

    Fans took to social media to share their shock at the lookalike contestant, with one tweeting, "Is Neil’s dad from The Inbetweeners on Tipping Point? Oh, wait, it's a lookalike!"

    Another fan joked, "I thought it was Neil’s dad from the inbetweeners on Tipping Point, but then I realized he wouldn't be caught dead on that show."

    While a third added: “Tony looks like Neil’s dad from the inbetweeners #Tippingpoint.”

    Tony went on the beat off his fellow players and go through to the final after a nail biting head to head.

    He was ultimately victorious as he managed to land the £10k jackpot after showing off his impressive trivia skills.

    Viewers have spotted many lookalikes on the show, including one player who bore a striking resemblance to Coronation Street’s Fiz.

    Rocking thick, curly red hair, contestant Frankie sent Twitter into meltdown with her striking resemblance to the cobbles character.

    “What’s Fizz from Corrie doing on tippingpoint,” gushed one player.

    A second joked: “Get home to the kids fizz #tippingpoint”

    “Flip me! Fizz is on #tippingpoint,” said a third,

    Fans also spotted a Dancing on Ice star Bez lookalike on a recent episode.

    One fan wrote: “Rob on today’s #TippingPoint, looking like Bez! He’s his blo*dy double!”.

    A second agreed: “#tippingpoint When I first saw Rob I thought "Bez has let himself go".

    Some fans recently were flabbergasted at the comparison of one player who looked remarkably like Darragh Ennise from fellow ITV game show, The Chase.

    Sporting a full head of curly dark hair and a similar build to a certain famous quizmaster, fans quickly compared player Lee to the famous quizzer.

    “I’m sorry, I can’t get over Lee’s perm. It reminds me of a certain chaser… #TippingPoint,” said one viewer, followed by a meme of Darragh shooting a thumbs up at the camera.
