Described as a cross between a thriller and emotional drama, find out here if it's based on a book.

Is Our House based on a true story?

Our House is not based on a true story but a book of the same name.

The ITV drama follows the story of estranged married couple Fi (played by Tuppence Middleton) and Bram (Martin Compston) who still live together.

When Fi returns home one evening, another family informs her that the property has been sold to them.

To make matters worse, all of Fi's belongings are gone and she cannot get hold of Bram for help.

Set over 12 hours, viewers will follow Fi has she tries to disentangle what's happened, save her house, and find her missing husband and children.

"It's a tightly plotted, roller coaster ride, full of unexpected twists and turns, that becomes incrementally darker as the series unfolds,' said Writer and Executive Producer, Simon Ashdown
