IRISH actor Cillian Murphy has won over fans around the world for his talent and heartthrob status.
Although Cillian's role as Tommy Shelby is coming to an end, he has starred in much more than Peaky Blinders.
Who is Cillian Murphy?
Cillian Murphy, 45, was born May 25, 1976 in Douglas, Ireland.
He stands at just 5 feet 7 inches tall and is an actor.
In his teens he began playing guitar and singing in multiple bands with his brother.
The duo were offered a five album deal but turned it down.
He started learning Law at University College Cork but knew it was not what he wanted to do.
After this he branched into acting and played the lead in a production of Little Shop of Horrors, performed at the Cork Opera House.

What TV shows and movies has he been in?
Cillian's first appearance in a film was in 1997, he played Pat in the short film Quando.
After that he appeared in more short films and worked on stage.
He stared in the 2002 Danny Boyle horror 28 days later before taking on Batman as the Scarecrow in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy.
Cillian would work with Nolan again in Inception (2010) and Dunkirk (2017) as well as the upcoming Oppenheimer, due to be released in 2023.
He regularly stars in darker or more serious films such as in John Krasinski's A Quiet Place Part II (2020).
Since 2013 he has been most recognisable as Tommy Shelby in the BBC's popular series Peaky Blinders.
Who is Cillian Murphy's wife?
Cillian married his long-time girlfriend, Yvonne McGuinness in 2004.
She is an artist who he met in 1996 at one of his band's shows.
Yvonne is an Irish visual artist who uses both print and video installations.
Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, she has an MA from Royal College of Art, London.
Her uncle is Fianna Fáil politician John McGuinness.
Does Cillian Murphy have children?
The couple moved back to Ireland in 2015, after living in London from 2001.
They have two sons – Malachy (born in December 2005) and Aran (born in July 2007.)
