Home and Away fans were shocked after seeing a throwback snap of soap icon Emily Symons.
The actress, 53, made her debut as Marilyn Chambers the same year the Channel 5 soap first aired in 1989 and it's safe to say her appearance has drastically changed.
Returning to watch classic epiosdes of the soap, one fan posted a screenshot of Marilyn when she first appeared in Summer Bay to the Seven Facebook page.

In the snap, Emily looked completely unrecognisable with voluminous hairstyle, giant earrings and heavy lashings of makeup.
The group member penned in the caption: "LIVING for these classic Home and Away episodes, Marilyn's hair!!! Just wish I didn't get so invested in each episode!
"It's hard when every episode is like a year after the one you'd previously watched, so they're all different characters and storylines!! But I'm loving it anyway!!"
Fans raced to the comments to share their thoughts on the photo, with one praising the actress for her ageless beauty as they wrote: "She looks much better now lol."
While others branded the dramatic look "cringe" as someone added: "Did somebody lose their mop? I bet she cringes when looking back at those 'do's."
“Back then though big hair was in and everyone had fluffy hair,” shared a third person.
While another fan agreed: “Yep, no one ‘ironed’ their hair then. It was the time of mousse and gel. Think Effie".
In recent weeks, Marilyn has been receiving threats after publicly speaking out against corrupt skincare company Stunning Organics.
During Thursday's episode (July 13), Marilyn was shaken after the threatning voicemail she was sent, warning that she and her friends better "watch their backs".
As Rose attempted to investigate who made the call, she revealed to a frightened Marilyn that the caller ID was tampered with, meaning the person on the other end went to great lengths to hide their identity.
