Home And Away viewers have launched petitions to keep the show alive after reports that it could be facing the axe.
The Australian soap has been on air since 1988 and has made stars of the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Dannii Minogue and Heath Ledger.
Currently airing on Channel Seven in Australia and Channel 5 in the UK, bosses are believed to be “under pressure” after ratings have plummeted.
Devastated viewers have now launched several campaigns to keep the show on their screens, with petitions popping up online in a bid to convince show bosses to save the soap.

One devastated viewer wrote: “I love #HomeandAway Have watched it since beginning! Please do not cancel it so much better than most soaps these day.”
A second added: “This must not be allowed to happen!”
The show has been struggling since 2017, with viewers failing to embrace its new characters and storylines.
It shares its schedule slot with reality shows Married At First Sight, LegoMasters and The Voice in Australia, which are proving more popular with viewers.
Blackbox TV reports that on Monday night, 454,000 viewers turned away from Channel Seven as Home And Away’s theme tune started.
This shrunk the channel’s viewing figures from 1.15million to 661,000 between 6:30pm and 7pm.
The publication continues to report that other Seven Network shows My Kitchen Rules, House Rules and The Super Switch are also struggling. They go on to suggest that the network could be looking at moving the show to a later time slot before giving up on it completely.
