A HOLLYOAKS star has been left devastated and begging fans for help after his adored pet went missing today.

James Sutton took to his Instagram stories to call for help for his following after his cat Ralph went missing.


James, 39, who is best known for playing John Paul McQueen in the Channel 4 soap opera, called on his fans to help.

The star took to his Instagram stories to beg those living in his local area to "please keep an eye out for him".

"Ralph has gone missing," the Instagram post, originally shared by a friend, read. "Please keep an eye out for him."

"He's not chipped and has no collar," the post continued, showing a photo of a black and white cat with green eyes.

"Please help find Ralph, if you know anything about where Ralph could be, talk to James Sutton."

James went on to share a closer-up photo of the cat, as she thanked his fans for their "kind advice".

"Thank you to everyone for sharing my story and for your kind advice," James penned. "No sign of him yet but I live in hope."

James is best known for starring in Hollyoaks, but has also portrayed Ryan Lamb in ITV soap opera Emmerdale.

Earlier this year, the star showed off his incredible body transformation after losing a stone.

He proudly revealed his muscular physique after hitting the gym and overhauling his fitness regime.

The TV star shared a before and after snap to show fans the progress.

James uploaded a topless image and said he felt "unhappy and unmotivated" before altering his lifestyle.

In the second photo, he showed off his bulging biceps after achieving his fitness goal – saying he "valued himself".

James wrote: "2019 – Unhappy. Unmotivated. Self Conscious. 2022 – Found a lifestyle and a program that suits me.

"I have more energy. I sleep better. I feel better. I’m more motivated. More productive.

"I hold my head up. I look people in the eye. I value myself. I have my ambition back. It's never too late to start."
