Nathan Sussex left his Hollyoaks role as paedophile Buster Smith earlier this year.
However, we could be seeing him back on-screen soon in another soap – such as EastEnders, Coronation Street or Emmerdale.
The 43-year-old actor told Daily Star Online in exclusive interview that he is up for more soap roles.
Nathan, who was crowned Best Villain at the recentl British Soap Awards, told us: “I’d love to return to soaps.
“”
“I’ve grown up with all of them.”
However, when asked in particular which soap he’d be keen for, the star stayed coy.
He added: “They’re all my favourites in many different ways really.
“It’d be whoever comes calling first.”
Despite saying this, Nathan also said he’d be up for returning to Hollyoaks too.
When asked if he’d go back to the Channel 4 show, he said: “Absolutely. I don’t know if there are any plans to bring Buster back.
“He’s in prison so I guess he has to be released at some point.
“But yeah, I’d go back in a heartbeat. It’s a wonderful place to work, they really look after you.”
As well as soaps, Nathan said he’d be quite keen to do a gritty drama too.
He added: “I’d do a one-off drama. I quite like bad boy roles – I could play a killer in something.
“On the flipside I’d love to play a drag queen, I’m interested in many roles.”
Despite being known for TV, Nathan has also been working on some films recently.
He is set to star in thriller The Wrong Place, as well as horror Next Door.
Talking about whether he plans to do more films, he told us: “If more films come that’s great, but I’m also interested in staying in TV.”
Whatever way, we can’t wait to see what he does next.
