HOLLYOAKS fans are convinced Bobby shot his mum Mercedes after he was revealed to be behind the campaign of terror against her.

The pub landlady – who is played by actress Jennifer Metcalfe in the Channel 4 soap – had been tormented by a mysterious assailant in recent days.

Someone had plastered pictures mocking up a target on her face all around the village, terrifying Mercedes.

Her husband Sylver is in custody after she accused him of shooting her earlier this year.

Though it has become increasingly clear that someone else was responsible as she continues to be terrified as if the shooter is still able to get to her.

In tonight's episode she was left shaken when someone tried to hit her with a barrell in the pub's backyard.

But the bigger shock was to come when she discovered Bobby's notebook making it clear he was behind the target posters – and the barrel incident.

Viewers are now convinced Bobby was the one who shot him mum out of revenge for her terrible parenting over the years.

One wrote: "Nah what’s the betting it’s gonna be bobby that tried to shoot Mercedes  #hollyoaks"

A second said: "Naaaa dont say it was Bobby that shot Mercedes Eastenders vibe"

Another added: "Bobby looks shifty as. Bet he was the shooter who tried to off Mercy"

A fourth tweeted: "Bobby shot Mercedes, Bobby made that poster. Isn’t the kid supposed to be a genius?!"
