The Eurovision Song Contest would not be the Eurovision Song Contest if it wasn’t for Graham Norton’s hilarious commentary.

And it seems as though the 56-year-old was more on point than ever last night with his gags and scathing reviews.

The presenter had viewers in stitches after he managed to insult Australia’s performance, before calling out Quarvo on his sly dig at Madonna‘s age.

So without further ado, we decided to compile some of his best comments from the evening – and we really don’t think you’re ready for them.

Before the night had even properly started to get going, Graham took aim at the hosts by saying one of them looked like a ‘disappointed Jeff Goldbloom.’

Then, after managing to restrain himself for the first act, he couldn’t quite keep his mouth shut as he tore into Albania’s entry Jonida Maliqi, where he compared the singer to Kirstie Allsopp.

Yet, it seems as though the arts and craft guru was all for the comparison as she took to Twitter in delight. Yes, we think she missed the point.

‘I can retire now, my greatest moment has come & gone,’ she told fans before adding: ‘Being mentioned by @ grahnort on # EUROVISION it doesn’t come any better than this. #endof.’ Bless.

And it seems the presenter couldn’t hold back when Madonna decided to grace the screen, as he poked fun at her interesting choice of outfit.

The Queen of Pop was all done up as her alter ego Madame X, which saw the icon wearing a patch over her left eye.

But, Norton was less than impressed as he teased the superstar, and viewers at home, by saying: ‘Good of Madonna to show up despite a nasty case of conjunctivitis.’

Such. The. Joker.

He then made a remark about Australia’s performance, which saw the singer Kate Miller-Heidke suspended on a 16ft pole that swayed from side to side throughout the duration of her performance.

‘If windscreen wipers could sing…’ Graham quipped after watching the gravity defying show.

And it wasn’t just Kate who suffered the wrath of Graham, as he also trolled Iceland’s Hatari after he took to the stage in BDSM.

‘They do have very long winters in Iceland,’ the presenter laughed: ‘I’d be angry too!’

Fans found his quips hilarious, and couldn’t help but take to Twitter to applaud him on his commentary.

‘@grahnort once again you have delivered a hilarious and entertaining Eurovision commentary Terry Wogan would be proud, #Eurovision2019,’ one happy viewer wrote.

While another added: ‘@grahnort insinuating @Madonna has conjunctivitis! Quality one-liner as always fella!

‘Keep up the good work and bring the wit during this Vote-Thy-Neighbour c*** we’ll all be about to laugh at!’

‘I will never get over how sassy Graham Norton is on Eurovision. He’s so amazing,’ someone else chirped in.
