GLASTONBURY fans have blasted the festival after Guns N' Roses made their epic debut.

The Paradise City hitmakers were headlining the second night of the three-day musical extravaganza at the iconic Worthy Farm.

With loyal Guns N' Roses fans eagerly awaiting their first Glastonbury showcase, many were left bitterly disappointed after a set crammed with hits including Welcome To The Jungle.

They all had one complaint – centred on the sound quality of lead star Axl Rose's mic on the Pyramid Stage.

One stauch Roses fan told MirrorOnline: "We were sat up the hill for Guns N' Roses and it was a struggle to hear Axl.

"Between songs he appeared to address the sound issues and said 'I can’t walk out further on stage cause when I do I can only hear myself and not the band'."

Others on Twitter were quick to agree, with one writing: "The BBC's sound mix for #GunsNRoses is terrible."

A second put: "Not impressed with Glastonbury this year like, Arctic’s shite, couldn’t hear Axl Rose, Texas were class tho."

A third said: "So Axl might only have per cent of his voice and need two disco naps but (once the sound got sorted) that was an epic Saturday headliner and I'll not hear a bad word about it. Amazing."

Another then weighed in and put: "It’s hard to judge Guns N’Roses Glastonbury set. The band sounded fantastic, and when you could hear Axl Rose he sounded great. However when you couldn’t it made it a hard watch. I’m not sure if that’s due to his voice or sound problems."
