DAENERYS Targaryen might have sacked King's Landing and be heading towards the Iron Throne – but a new fan theory suggests she won't last much longer.

The dark theory predicts that Jon Snow will be forced to kill his former lover – to protect the Starks.

The wild theory has been shared on Reddit and claims to have episode 6 all mapped out.

Fans predict Daenerys will have Tyrion Lannister imprisoned for treason and order his execution for helping his brother Jaime escape.

Meanwhile, Jon reflects on his decision to bend the knee to Dany after she turned into the Mad Queen and burned tens of thousands of people alive in King's Landing.

He visits Tyrion who tells him his surviving family – Sansa, Arya and Bran Stark – will never be safe because he has a stronger claim to the throne.

In order to protect his siblings, Jon will express his love and loyalty to Daenerys – but only to get close enough to stab her in the heart.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the final episode of Game of Thrones has revealed a surprising twist as in the aftermath of the fiery Last Battle everything has changed.

A short teaser for episode 6 shows Daenerys walking through the burned ruins of King's Landing.

Meanwhile, her army, Tyrion and Arya look on.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys, previously said that the last ever episode is bound to leave some fans disappointed.

"People will scream and people will say, 'That's exactly what I wanted'," she said.

"And some people will go, 'Huh?' – my mum, probably."
