Game of Thrones saw death and destruction all over the Seven Kingdoms as the show drew to a dramatic conclusion. With Jaime Lannister (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) dying in each others arms as the Red Keep crumbled around them, the characters said their emotional goodbyes.
However, one Reddit user saw an ending that could have fulfilled Cerise’s death prophecy and seen her killed by Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).
After all, Cersei and Jaime were two of the most villainous characters to grace the series.
Reddit user bnoeau cultivated their own ending that saw Jaime survive as the Red Keep crumbled, but Cersei was in a bad way.
The user began: “Tyrion finds Cersei escaping the keep, and tries to actually help her at first, but Cersei’s rage gets the better of her and actually attacks Tyrion.

- Game of Thrones: Why did Tywin Lannister star Charles Dance leave?
“Tyrion acts in self defense and tries to subdue Cersei, a struggle ensues, Jaime arrives in time to see the siblings fighting each other, he tries to break it up, at which point the ceiling begins to collapse and debris falls upon the Lannister’s and knocks all 3 siblings out cold.”
However, the siblings weren’t killed off here as the user went on to reveal an entirely different aftermath to the one that played out in the HBO fantasy.
The user continue: “The Lannister siblings awake battered and bloodied, Jaime at first see’s Tyrion covered in rubble and removes some of the bricks off of his brother.
“Then they both look in horror as they see Cersei alive, however obviously fatally covered in rubble.”
However, the theorist reveals the brothers were soon to make a shocking discovery.
Assessing their sister’s injuries, they realise she won’t make it, so take drastic action to put her out of her misery.
The user added: “Cersei pleads that she does not want to die, but Jaime exchanges no words, just a broken hearted, hopeless, tearful look into her eyes as if telling her telepathically that she will soon perish here.
“She then chooses not to suffer and not to have the baby suffer within her…she looks into Jaime’s eyes with absolution and says ‘when you play the Game of Thrones, you either win or you die… finish it’.”

This would have fulfilled the character’s prophecy from the books.
