EastEnders’ Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) came bounding onto the Square last year, searching for answers from his dad.
Upon his arrival, it soon became clear that Freddie believed Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) to be his biological father, and he was left utterly confused to discover that that wasn’t the case.
However, the truth is set to reveal itself in the near future, as executive producer Chris Clenshaw has revealed that, ‘Freddie will finally find out the truth about his dad.’
Long term viewers of the show will know that Freddie’s mum Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth) fell pregnant with him after being raped by Graham Foster.
Though Billy attempted to raise him alongside her as his own, he struggled to connect with the baby, knowing how he had been conceived.

This ultimately led to the end of Little Mo’s marriage to Billy, and it wasn’t long before she left the Square for good.
However, could she be set to return as Freddie learns what really happened?
While actress Kacey has said ‘never say never’ to a full-time return, citing that she ‘literally doesn’t have time at the moment’, could she have managed to squeeze a one-off return into her schedule?
Viewers were recently surprised by the one-off appearance of Jacqueline Jossa as Lauren Branning, as she made her return for a single special episode revealing Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) whereabouts.
Previous to that, Rita Simons reprised her role as the dead Roxy Mitchell for a one off special which saw Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) see her mum as a figment of her imagination.
Could Kacey be set to do the same as Freddie finds out Little Mo’s big secret?
If that wasn’t enough to convince us, Chris Clenshaw has previously teased that a return may be on the cards for the Walford favourite.
‘Freddie’s in the show, so there is every chance that Little Mo could pop back to Walford,’ Chris told the Loose Women panel back in February..
If Little Mo doesn’t make an appearance, we’re sure that Freddie will still have a lot of support, particularly from best friend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell).
Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the British Soap Awards, actor Bobby said: ‘Freddie goes into quite a deep journey, and I think Bobby will be a part of it, helping him and being emotionally supportive as Bobby does.
‘It’s fun to film and I can’t wait for it to come out, it’s going well.’
