EMMERDALE fans cannot wait for Chas Dingle to hunt down serial killer Meena Jutla after she finally believed Liv Flaherty is innocent.

The Woolpack landlady – who is played by actress Lucy Pargeter in the ITV soap – realised she was wrong about Liv being guilty of Ben’s murder.

After Paddy confronted her about abandoning Liv despite seeing no evidence, Chas made another decision.

Visiting Liv in hospital, she quizzed her about why she was so sure she didn’t kill Ben despite not being able to remember anything.

Liv told her: “When I walked home that night and saw Lydia I had no blood on me.

“I know I argued with Ben, I saw it on his phone, but I walked away I didn’t touch him.

“If I did – I would have been in a right state, even if I was drunk. There’s no way I would have been able to hold it together.

“You told me that you thought you’d killed someone once and what you told me about what that made you feel.

“You think I could? I didn’t kill Ben, but someone did and someone is still out there.”

Back at home Chas revealed she believed Liv – and decided to hunt down the real killer herself.

Promising to fund Liv’s new lawyer, Chas told Vinny: “I’ll talk the family round. We can’t have any more arguing between us if we’re going to clear her name.

“I’d written her off because of the booze but she deserved better. Liv is a lot of things but she’s not a killer.”

Viewers can’t wait for Chas to hunt Meena down and make her pay for what she’s done.

One wrote: "Yes! Chas finally has some sense knocked into her."

A second said: "Took you long enough Chas!"

Another added: "FINALLY, Chas is seeing sense and is now on Liv's side."
