Caleb Milligan (William Ash) has made a lot of enemies in Emmerdale.
After his plan to destroy Home Farm was revealed, the likes of Cain (Jeff Hordley), Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Moira (Natalie J Robb) were completely furious at him for making out like he was in the village to try and get to know his Dingle family.
While this was true to some extent, Caleb’s desperation to get revenge on Kim (Claire King) completely took over him.
He was agreeing to deals that would’ve seen Moira lose Holly’s field, he had completely overlooked the fact Nicky (Lewis Cope) is actually gay and wanted to be with Ally (Joshua Horrocks) and lied to a lot of people just to ensure he got what he wanted when the time came.
With Caleb’s plan now in pieces, he’s facing the wrath of many Emmerdale residents, one of which will end up pushing him over a ravine this week as they attempt to get revenge after his awful behaviour.

But if Caleb survives this fall, could we see that dark side to him again as he tries to get his own back?
‘His whole life he’s held this grudge that he was put into care and his mum abandoned him and his family abandoned him’, Will Ash explained to us.
‘His dad didn’t want anything to do with him. He is one of those people who will hold a grudge for a long time. He feels like someone’s tried to kill him, essentially, so once he finds out who that is, the gun’s loaded for that person, definitely.’
While it doesn’t seem as though Caleb is actually capable of feeling any emotions, Will told us that his character certainly regrets some of his actions over the past few months:
‘I think he massively regrets how he’s treated Nicky. He became so obsessed with Home Farm, and kind of reclaiming what he felt was his inheritance and avenging his dad’s death, that he just lost sight of everything else. So I think post whatever happens in Home Farm, with the fallout from that, he kind of starts to see how badly he treated Nicky and how awful he was.
‘That’s kind of one thread of it, but also I think he feels terrible that he used Cain and Moira’s farm as collateral. I think he had all the best intentions of reimbursing them and looking after them, but I think he massively regrets ruining that relationship, really.
‘But I’d say it’s Nicky that is the big one, because he’s brutal to him, really, really brutal!’
‘His loyalty’s definitely more with the Dingles, because there’s very few of the Tates around that he can connect with, Joe and all that – obviously Chris has passed away’, he added.

‘So his loyalties definitely kind of lie with the Dingles, and they’ve been so nice to him, they’ve been so welcoming. I know there has been huge suspicion about him when he came into the village, but they’ve shown him nothing but love, really, and kindness. And it’s nice being involved with those two families, they’re huge parts of Emmerdale and there’s always loads of drama to mine from those families.
‘And it’s great working with Claire, and it’s been amazing working with all the Dingles; so it’s been good, it’s been good fun!’.
