Emmerdale’s Eden Taylor-Draper has teased what’s to come for her character Belle Dingle in tonight’s game-changing episode where she finds out Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) struck down Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) in a hit-and-run.

During an appearance on Lorraine, the actress spoke to superfan Andi Peters all about the plot and how Belle will handle the situation once finding out the truth.

And things don’t look good for Jamie, as it sounds as though Belle is willing to do right by her family and report her beau to the police.

The 22-year-old explained: ‘Jamie’s confession of, “look, I ran Moira over,” Belle is like, “either you go to the police or I go to the police for you.

‘She is adamant that it is family and it doesn’t matter how much she loves him, he’s in the wrong.’

However, she might regret her choices as Eden expressed how Belle questions what she should do.

‘I just think this situation puts her in a place of you either pick your family or you pick Jamie,’ she pressed. ‘And you can’t have both.’

Turning her attention to Belle’s love life, the star laughed: ‘Yeah, I think that’s the thing I think if she could help it, she wouldn’t [be in love with Jamie] but there are definitely feelings there.

‘It is the worst of the worst, she just can’t get a good man.’

Eden’s words come after Andrea (Anna Nightingale) started to blackmail Jamie over the hit-and-run, prompting him to turn the tables and play her at her own game.

However, things heat up and Jamie shows up at Belle’s place of work leaving her worried about him.

Tonight will see Jamie stress how he needs to get everything off his chest, telling Belle how Andrea is blackmailing him before ultimately confessing to hitting Moira.

But what will happen in the aftermath of his revelation? And will Belle turn him into the police?

When asked whether or not there’s a positive or negative ending to Belle’s story, Eden shook her hand, saying: ‘It’s a mix.’

We guess only time will tell.
