Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) is carrying Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) unborn child which she has been told to keep a secret from his girlfriend Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) on Emmerdale. Chloe was confiding in her mother Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) about her pregnancy, but with Kerry now out of the picture, she’s had to rely on her sister Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson). However, ITV soap spoilers have hinted Chloe gets made homeless when Amy’s patience wears thin.
In upcoming scenes, Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) is touched by Noah Dingle’s (Jack Downham) support at baby Esther’s christening.
However, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), the baby’s grandmother, is disappointed when Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) refuses to accompany her to his daughter’s christening.
Meanwhile, Amy and Chloe are confrontational around Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Charity, and they soon rub the latter up the wrong way with their bickering.
When Chloe and Amy arrive at the christening at Chas’ invitation, Charity is less than impressed.
As the village vicar begins the christening at St Mary’s Church, Charity’s rift with Amy threatens to put the service in jeopardy.
The christening is thrown into chaos when Charity and Amy start rowing and it soon turns physical.
Charity is later arrested after a police officer witnesses their fight.
The following day, Chloe is left conflicted about how things escalated between the two women.
When Charity is released from prison pending further investigation, she puts on a strong front with Mackenzie.
Mackenzie soon tries to coerce Chloe into changing her statement to the police about the brawl.
When Chloe admits she is concerned Charity will get sent to prison, Amy suggests she once again moves out.
Chloe knows she has nowhere to live over the festive period, so where will she go?
Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) soon becomes increasingly suspicious of the identity of the unborn baby’s father after seeing Mackenzie’s reaction when Chloe leaves.
Will Nate put two and two together and figure out Mackenzie is the father of Chloe’s baby?
Later on, Chloe pretends she has found a place to stay when Amy contacts her.
Amy starts feeling bad for kicking her pregnant sister out, but will she offer her a roof over her head again?
Christmas is a time of year for forgiving and putting your family first, so it would be heartbreaking if Chloe spent December 25 alone in the cold or a homeless shelter.
Mackenzie might feel guilty knowing Chloe is without a place to live – could he persuade Charity to let her move in with them?
However, there is a risk Chloe will tell Charity the truth about the baby’s father.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
