WHILE her exit from Emmerdale looms closer, Meena Jutla hatches one last plan to wreak chaos.

However, viewers of the ITV soap are begging for a spin-off show on the serial killer with a petition.

Paige Sandhu has made quite the impression with Emmerdale fans as sinister nurse Meena.

While her crimes may have outraged some viewers who have reached out to Ofcom, the character has found fans who can't get enough of her.

An online petition has been launched on Change.org and now begs TV bosses to come up with a spin-off programme for Meena, adequately dubbed Meenadale.

According to them, and despite her quitting the main show in a few months, Paige Sandhu is keen to get involved.

"Many viewers of Emmerdale have felt that serial killer Meena Jutla has been the most interesting part of Emmerdale for a while now, and have expressed their wish for a spin-off series centred around her. Actress Paige Sandhu agrees", the petition reads.

"Whether it could be set in a prison as she carries out her sentence and depicts her becoming top dog and potentially escaping, or whether she gets off with no charge and follows her arrival to another village where she begins killing again – fans of Meena NEED it!"

Fans of Meena deem that "with the many dramas that ITV commission, it would be so interesting to see a spin-off of a soap", which could also characters that we've already been introduced to and therefore follow their journey in more depth than a soap may allow to."

The petition underlines "the potential of more brutal scenes" of the eventual spin-off, knowing Meena is capable of bloodshed.

"Meena has a large following online and offline, so to be able to see her in her very own series, despite running Emmerdale for the past two years, would be amazing."

Viewers have also taken to social media to defend the idea of a spin-off series on Meena, as she continues her plan for revenge by manipulating vicar Charles Anderson on-screen.

"On a serious note, who do we contact to get a Meena Jutla spin-off show?", one viewer wrote on Twitter.

Another penned: "Petition for Meena to get her own spin-off show in prison and her being like a cult leader or something."

While a spin-off doesn't seem to be in the cards as of yet, one fan thought a series crossover could satisfy viewers in the meantime.

"Loving the Emmerdale plot twists with Meena as one of the best villains in soapland. A huge acting talent in Paige Sandhu – we don't want it to end", the viewer wrote.

"Can the writer please give us a spin-off with Meena meeting Silas from Hollyoaks? How wonderful that stand-off would be!"

For now, Meena won't be going anywhere as she has recently been charged for murder but isn't ready to face justice without one last fight.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV.
