KIM Tate left Emmerdale viewers in shock tonight after seducing Pete Barton and planning to romp with him in the living room of the mansion her family live in.

The multi-millionaire soap super bitch – who is played by actress Claire King in the ITV soap – was rescued from being trapped in mud by Pete after trying to drive through a field.

And with Pete saving her so soon after she had a furious row with Rhona, it didn't take Kim long to get her own back.

At first, a mud-soaked Kim thanked Pete for making her laugh and offered to pay him for his time but when he declined she insisted he share a drink with her.

One turned to two and as both of them opened up about how lonely they were feeling Pete asked her how many bedrooms she had – and she said "all of them empty".

Then viewers watched in shock as Kim leaned in to kiss Pete and he responded and the pair shared a passionate embrace.

But not wanting to romp on her furniture while muddy, Kim nipped upstairs for a shower and invited Pete to join her.

However, despite their chemistry, Pete came to his senses and disappeared before Kim returned downstairs.

And now fans are utterly horrified by Kim betraying her only friend in the village.

One wrote: "#Emmerdale what the hell pete and Kim no no no that is not going to work out @emmerdale"
