Emmerdale: Lydia confronts the Dingles over Craig’s death
On Tuesday’s instalment of Emmerdale, Lydia Dingle (played by Karen Blick) continued to question the rest of her family about how rapist Craig Reed (Ben Addis) died.
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) hit back when he was pressed for his alibi while Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was uneasy when Aaron turned his focus onto her instead.
Soon Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) offered his account of the day when it was his turn to reveal all.
However, he failed to mention he ended up embarking on an affair with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) that day.
Charity also fabricated what happened on the day Craig was found dead, leaving fans wondering who is actually linked to the rapist’s death.

Taking to social media, some viewers speculated the person behind his killing was not a Dingle at all.
One fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “#emmerdale what a load of tripe tonight. Obviously, it’s Craig’s secretary as he assaulted her as well. That’s my theory.”
Chrissy said: “It’s his secretary! She wasn’t happy with him, was she? #emmerdale.”
Jason remarked: “Who killed Craig? Well I’ll go for either Samson or Craig’s secretary! But being a soap we might find out Lydia wakes up tonight and it’s all been a bad dream!! #emmerdale.” (sic)

Emmerdale fans will recall Craig raped Lydia last month in their place of work and she didn’t tell any of her loved ones about the ordeal for weeks.
Could Craig have also assaulted his secretary who may have got revenge by killing him? Did she team up with Lydia or another member of the Dingle family to put an end to Craig’s life?
Earlier this year, producer Laura Shaw told Express.co.uk and other media: “We’ve had a lot of people [behind the scenes] going ‘Oh no, not Lydia, you can’t do that to lovely Lydia.’ So many people have said that to me, and I think it made me realise that’s why it’s so important to play it with somebody like Lydia because rape isn’t something that happens to bad people.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX. Support is available via rapecrisis.org.uk.
