NATALIE Cassidy looked completely different from her EastEnders character as she shows off her wedding transformation.

The 39-year-old actress took to Instagram to reveal her new look – and she was worlds away from her iconic character Sonia Fowler.

In the video EastEnders star Natalie's brunette locks are piled up onto her head in rollers, ready to be unleashed into big bouncy curls.

Joking with her fans she said: "Only been sat in the garden for five minutes, look at the colour of me."

Smiling to herself and pulling a funny face she added: "Joking, I've had a spray tan, had my nails done, let's get to the wedding."

Natalie, 40, couldn't help but bemoan the summer heat, adding in as a caption: "Look good with the Hayfever."

Natalie, who is mum to daughters Eliza, 12, and Joanie, six, recently showed off a very different look after a training session for the London Marathon.

She took on the mammoth task this year to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK in memory of Barbara Windsor.

Natalie was joined on the run in 2019 by co-stars Adam Woodyatt, Emma Barton, Jamie Borthwick, Tanya Franks, Kellie Shirley and Jake Wood.

Their Barbara's Revolutionaries team raised more than £100,000 for Alzheimer's charities at the time, after the Peggy Mitchell legend was diagnosed with the disease.
