EastEnders: Peter Beale returns
Thomas Law has decided to leave his role as Eddie Martin in ITV’s The Bay in order to return full-time to EastEnders.
The 30-year-old has played cop Eddie Martin in the crime drama for the last three years, but won’t be seen in the upcoming season.
A show spokeswoman confirmed to Daily Star: “Thomas won’t be appearing in the next series of The Bay.”
An insider has revealed how Thomas’ decision to leave has impacted the cast and crew.
They said: “Everyone at The Bay is sad about Tom leaving. He was really popular with his co-stars and the viewers.”
Express.co.uk have contacted ITV for comment.
Thomas’ exit from The Bay comes following his surprise EastEnders comeback, where fans last saw him play Peter Beale in 2010.
Viewers also saw his parents Ian (played by Adam Woodyatt) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) return to the BBC soap where they had fled the UK to live in France.
During the episode, it transpired that Cindy and her family had been hiding under a witness protection programme due to her snitching on someone called Jackie Ford in prison.
However, in a bombshell revelation, it was also revealed that she’s the ex-wife to the new Queen Vic owner George Knight (Colin Salmon) and his two children Gina ( Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford)

Speaking about reprising his role, Thomas said: “Over the years, I had hoped for a return to the Square although I never thought it would happen.
“So, it’s an absolute delight to be back in Walford as Peter Beale.
“It’s been great to see familiar and new faces, and I can’t wait to explore the character again in the wake of Cindy’s return, it’s an exciting time to return!”
It wasn’t long before viewers shared their delight at seeing the actor back on their screens once again as many rushed to Twitter when he made his return.
