The alien-inspired epic continued this evening as the Doctor (played by Jodie Whittaker) was trapped by The Master (Sacha Dhawan) in an alternate universe as Yaz (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Graham (Bradley Walsh) had to quickly think up an escape plan to get off a burning plane. But it was a revelation by The Master at the end of the instalment which hinted at a rather interesting twist to come.
This evening, as The Master continued to taunt the Doctor, he revealed: “I bring news from home.”
Fans of the show will know The Master and the Doctor both originate from the same planet, Gallifrey.
Viewers were left in meltdown after the Doctor’s home planet was mentioned.

“Polarised, burnt, nuked, someone destroyed it, our home, erased to the ground, everyone killed everything burnt,” he revealed.
The Doctor was convinced he was “lying” as fans praised the twist this evening.
One said: “#DoctorWho they brought back the classic who contact thing, they made the Doctor mysterious again, Gallifrey has dark secrets of its own that even the Master was shocked by so made them all pay. That talk they have at the end oh my god. The Timeless Child indeed.”
“I’m just howling at the fact Moffat brought back Gallifrey again only for Chibnall to destroy it instantly,” tweeted another.
Although, some fans believe there could be a further twist in store and believe he could be lying.
