Danny Dyer has opened up on his ‘emotional’ departure from EastEnders and hinted he may return.
The actor quit as Mick Carter last year after nine years on the soap.
Speaking about his dramatic exit on Christmas Day where his car plunged off a cliff, he told the Radio Times: “I don’t regret leaving, but it was really emotional for me.”

He then teased: “Mick’s exit felt like a real “full stop”, but maybe it was a 'dot, dot, dot.'”
The 45-year-old opened up about filming in Melbourne, Australia, a new four-part Channel 5 thriller Heat, and mooted Mick Carter having a spin-off show.
“That’s a hell of a swim. But it would be an interesting spin-off, Carter in Australia.”
He has sworn off appearing on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
“Not in a million years. Why do people do it? I mean, maybe they’ve got a big tax bill, or they need to raise their profile. But I don’t need the money or my profile raised.”
Dyer recently revealed he'd lost 7lbs after starving himself for 16 hours a day.
But the Human Traffic star insisted he wouldn't be giving up his beloved "Stella and crackers".
He told The Mirror: "My wife, sometimes she cooks me dinner. But if she’s cooking it with anger and banging pots around, it just tastes like s***.
"There’s a place called the Toby Carvery and you have to queue up for a roast… I’ve got a platinum card!"
It came after his daughter Dani, 26, admitted she was worried about her old man's health.
But the Cockney actor said he was relying on yoga and intermittent fasting to help him fight the flab.
