Alan Halsall got Coronation Street fans feeling all kinds of emotional as he shared a touching gesture towards his daughter Sienna during the coronavirus lockdown.
The Tyron Dobbs actor took to Twitter to share that, like most of us, his six-year-old daughter was hankering for some McDonald’s whilst staying at home.
The fast-food chain, of course, closed all its restaraunts last week to follow government advice in dealing with the growing nature of the pandemic.
This didn’t stop Alan, however, as he shared a picture with his followers that showed a cracking home-made happy meal that we would quite like to tuck in to too, tbh.
‘When Sienna wants a [McDonald’s] but we’re in lockdown!’ he wrote alongside the snap.
He then hashtagged McDaddy, and who are we to argue with him?
And it seemed Alan’s surprise for his daughter struck a chord with many of his fans, who admitted that they were basically an emotional mess after seeing his act of kindness.
‘That is so gorgeous!’ one fan commented. ‘You made me cry!’
Another added: ‘This is so cute and amazing.’
Apparently, the 37-year-old also get’s ‘today’s best dad award’ according to one other fan, which we’re sure he appreciates.
We’ve just got one question for him – does he deliver? As long as he practises social distancing procedures, of course…
Coronavirus pandemic aside, Alan has had quite the dramatic past few weeks – just last month he and co-star girlfriend Tisha Merry got stuck in New York on their way home from a holiday.
Coronation Street continues Monday 30 March at 7.30pm on ITV.
