Abi Webster (Sally Carman) is left incredibly concerned about a possible future behind bars in Coronation Street this week, after she and Kevin (Michael Le Vell) are questioned by the police.
The couple are left speechless when they receive a visit from a number of police officers, who inform them that Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) have been involved in a car accident.
The accident in question, which takes place on Wednesday (June 1), sees Imran and Toyah’s car collide with a building, and the duo are left fighting for their lives.
Imran seemingly manages to get Toyah to safety, all the while begging her not to die, but the outcome of the crash ultimately remains to be seen.
Abi and Kev, meanwhile, face some serious questions.
The below clip, taken from Friday’s episode, sees the duo carted off in separate police vehicles, something which makes them realise the seriousness of the situation.

‘Abi has done loads of things wrong in the past, but she’s also had many moments of being accused of doing things she hasn’t done,’ actress Sally Carman told Metro.co.uk.
Her instant fear is: “This is going to get pinned on us and we haven’t actually done anything!”. She’s really concerned and worried about what Kevin did to the car, and she’s wanting a lot of reassurance.
‘Kevin reassures her that it’s all fine. But it’s just going from bad to worse all the time for her, so it’s hard to have a rational brain about it.’
Will Abi and Kevin be blamed for what’s happened to Imran and Toyah?
Or will they be able to explain their way out of this one?
Coronation Street airs Monday to Thursday this week, at the earlier time of 7:30pm.
