Coronation Street: Tim is attacked by Stephen
Serial killer Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) is set to take his final stand in thrilling scenes on tonight’s Coronation Street.
But could he be set to claim two more victims before he does so?
In upcoming scenes on the ITV soap, Stephen realises that everything is finally closing in on him and it’s time for him to escape the country.
But he has to return to Weatherfield after noticing that he doesn’t have his passport.
When Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) catches some kids trying to get into the closed Rovers Return, she lets herself in and is soon joined by Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien). It’s then that Sarah reveals what her uncle Stephen has done.

The former landlady is staggered to find out that Stephen is a killer and had something to do with what happened to her late boyfriend Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) and his dad Teddy (Grant Burgin).
In the darkened pub, they soon realise that they aren’t alone. Everything happens so quickly that Sarah doesn’t have time to react to Stephen’s strike, which knocks her to the ground.
But has the longstanding character met her end at Stephen’s hand?
“When he hits her around the head it is a bit of a wake-up call for Jenny. No one is off limits now, you know? He’s capable of that,” explained the Jenny actress.

Stephen then turns his attention to Jenny, while she worries that Sarah is now dead.
He demands that she hand over the passport but they end up in a scuffle for it which leads to Stephen holding a broken bottle to her neck and emerging out onto the famous street with her.
Sally Ann revealed that Jenny “thinks she’s a goner,” in this instance. She added to the Daily Mirror: “She wants to know why he did it, what he’s done, and in that moment, she sees that as far more important than her own safety.”
But can he get away before the police catch up to him? There will no doubt be dramatic scenes to follow and it is not yet known whether or not Sarah or Jenny will lose their lives after finding themselves caught in Stephen’s crossfire.
Fans will need to tune in this evening to see exactly how Stephen’s killer storyline reaches its climax, as well as the impact that it will have on the residents of Weatherfield.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
