Coronation Street: Tim is attacked by Stephen
Coronation Street Sally Dynevor has praised the downfall of Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) as the community came together.
Since his return to the cobbles last year, ITV fans have seen the Canadian businessman claim the lives of three people on the cobbles.
Although he had managed to get away with murder for a while, his lies and schemes started to unravel after Leo Thompkins’ (Joe Frost) body was discovered.
On Friday evening, viewers watched Stephen finally get his comeuppance as the residents of Weatherfield worked together to end his reign of terror.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk and other media publications, Sally Dynevor touched on what it’s like working on such a huge storyline within the soap.

The soap star confessed: “I love this story. I’ve loved this story right from the very beginning.
“I think it’s been a brilliant story and the fact that it has involved so many people on the street and that we are a community looking for this man.”
Sally highlighted how Stephen has managed to get himself involved with a range of people in Weatherfield from the Platt family, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthew), her own character and her husband Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).
She continued: “He’s got himself involved in everyone’s stories, which is wonderful to be a part of.

“I love those collaborating stories when we all come together.
“They’re the best stories for me when the whole street is involved in one thing, so this has been so much fun to be involved in!”
During the episode on Friday, fans were on edge as they saw Jenny’s life up in the air as Stephen made one last bid to escape.
Threatening her life with a broken bottle, he met a deadly end when Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) ran him down.
Speaking about Stephen’s exit, Sally added: “He’s a really lovely, lovely man to talk to about absolutely anything and he’ll be really missed.
“He’s been a lovely part of the cast, you know when you get an actor like that, that joins the cast it’s really sad when they leave.
“You get this relationship with them but I think he’ll just go on to do wonderful things because I think he’s fabulous.”
