In tonight’s Coronation Street double bill, Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) tried to help his love interest Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) get out of her current situation.
He found out she was a victim of human trafficking and slavery and tried to get a note sent to her.
However when he thought she’d replied, he went to go and help her, only to be attacked by the villains responsible.
Jan Lozinski (Piotr Baumann) was involved and instead of getting rid of Seb for good, as Rachel Healy (Verity Henry) had requested, he took him to hospital and dumped him.
“So is Jan a police informant or undercover?”

While his apparent change of heart could be to avoid sparking concern in Weatherfield, some viewers are convinced it means something else.
They flocked to Twitter with their theory, which sees Jan as an undercover cop trying to bust Rachel.
One said: “So is Jan a police informant or undercover?”
Another wrote: “Could Jan be undercover and the drugs stuff was his backstory because surely Eileen’s not that much of a dodgy Micky magnet?”
A third tweeted: “Still desperately hoping that Jan is an undercover cop and will eventually expose Rachel.”
And somebody else simply noted: “Still think Jan is an undercover cop.”
Later this week, Eileen quizzes Jan about his involvement but he tells her he was working in Birmingham.
She eventually sees him, Rachel and Nikolai stuffing things into a van at the salon.
Jan goes on to tell Eileen that he lied about his feelings for her before a fight ensues, and police arrest everyone involved.
The human trafficking ring is soon closed and Seb begs Alina to stay in touch – though she refuses to make any promises.
But could it still be revealed that Jan was working with the police all along?
Coronation Street continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV.
