Coronation Street: Ryan leaving Weatherfield
Coronation Street’s Bernie Winter (played by Jane Hazelgrove) could be set to push Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) over the edge and risk their relationship.
Official spoilers reveal that Sunita Alahan’s (Shobna Gulati) anniversary is coming up and Dev is on edge, leaving Bernie to make things worse.
In upcoming scenes, Bernie and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) join the Alahans for Sunita’s memorial dinner.
Dev asks Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) if she got her bracelet back, leaving Aadi to stare at his sister and confirm that she did.
Meanwhile, when Asha notices a bubble of light hovering over her in a photo they just took, Bernie begins to suggest it’s a human spirit.

However, not wanting to think about that, Dev is quick to close down her superstitions and end the conversation.
Later, Aadi notices that the picture of him and Asha has moved and now faces the picture of his Mum.
Bringing up the spirits again, Bernie puts it down to the presence of Sunita’s spirit whilst Dev refuses to entertain the idea.
Bernie pushes further and tells Paul about Sunita’s restless spirit and how it caused the photo to move.
Annoyed, Dev despairs and demands she tell him what she stands to gain with all her supernatural nonsense.

Has Bernie pushed their relationship too far?
Elsewhere, Paul humours Bernie as she tries to create a spiritual environment at home but fears she might be going too far.
Bernie has been having a tough time lately after Paul revealed that he had motor neurone disease and had months to live.
He recently found a friend in Shelly, a lady he met at his support group who has been giving advice on what is to come.
However, despite Paul wanting his family to meet her, Bernie has often found ways to get out of it, not wanting to think about the end of her son’s life.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
