Coronation Street: Ed’s dad Sarge arrives

Coronation Street has finally shared where resident Aggie Bailey (played by Lorna Laidlaw) is after she disappeared from the cobbles.

The last time fans of the ITV soap saw the nurse in Weatherfield was in June earlier this year.

Nurse Aggie was last seen having some old friends over at the Metcalfe’s house, as she tried to pass it off as her own.

However, not long after the staged dinner party she seemed to vanish from Weatherfield altogether.

Although her absence has been mentioned a few times by her family on the cobbles, the show has now revealed where she is.

On Monday night, viewers saw Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) have a conversation with Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) about her whereabouts.

Confirming where she is, he said: “I can’t believe mum won’t be back for Christmas.

“I know she’s doing a brilliant job looking after Auntie Em but come on, it’s not going to be the same waking up Christmas morning with mum not here.

“For Glory, Christmas dinner without mum, she always makes a big effort.”
