Coronation Street legend Anita Carey has died at the age of 75 following her 13-year long battle with breast cancer.
The Yorkshire born actress was best known for her roles on beloved soaps including Coronation Street and Doctors.
It is reported the late actress passed away on July 19, 13 years after she was first diagnosed with cancer back in 2010.

However news of her death was not announced until almost a month later, when a fan paid tribute on social network X, formerly known as Twitter.
They wrote: "Really sad to read about the death of Anita Carey. I remember watching her in Doctors and she was incredible during Vivian's raper story, which rightfully won awards. A brilliant actress. RIP."
Another said: "Very sad news about the fabulous Anita Carey. A Very deserving winner of Dramatic Performance at the Soap Awards. Always a joy to talk to."
And a third added: "Saddened to hear about Anita Carey. She was a joy to write for as Vivien on Doctors and it was great to meet her once at the Soap Awards."
Anita joined Coronation Street in 1996 as Joyce Smedley, before she left in 1997.
She was the mother of Gaynor Faye's character Judy Mallett but was cut during producer Brian Park's brutal cast axe.
The star the went on to join Doctors in 2007 as receptionist Vivien March, and won an award for the role in 2009.
Anita also landed roles in Last Of The Summer Wine, Casualty, Midsomer Murders, Casualty and Where The Heart Is.
She was also known for stage roles, in plays like Prince of Tyre at Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Gower in Shakespeare's Pericles.
Anita was married to actor Mark Wing-Davey, and shared two daughters together.
