CASUALTY star Nigel Harman has announced that he has quit his role on the BBC soap after eight months.
The actor, who joined the cast of Casualty as Max Cristie in February, made the announcement over the weekend.
Nigel confirmed he has filmed his final scenes and won’t be returning after they air next year.
He said: “My time on Casualty is done for the time being.
"I’m on screen until February and there are no plans for me to come back at the moment.”
It comes after it was revealed that Nigel is one of the celebrities to have signed up to take part in Strictly Come Dancing later this month.
