VIEWERS of Britain's Got Talent have threatened to boycott the show next year after claims of a 'fix' over Colin Thackery's win.
Disgruntled viewers have taken to Twitter to vent their anger after the 89-year-old Army veteran was crowned the winner during last night's live final.
One fan angrily wrote: "Absolute Fix!! Should of been Dave and Finn! Never watching the show again!", whilst another replied: "BGT Should be taken off the air, absolute fix."
"Another fix! Well done BGT – not watching again", another fan threatened.
The furious Tweets came after Colin beat Magician X and Ben Hart to become the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2019.
Despite the backlash, the Chelsea pensioner earned a standing ovation for his moving rendition of Love Changes Everything during the final – and the judges were quick to agree.
"What a magic moment you have created on this show," David Walliams said, "I think tonight you are unbeatable".
Amanda Holden added she knew Colin was not taking part because of the fame and glamour.
"I know that this is because you served your country and I hope tonight that they serve you," she said.
After being crowned the winner, an emotional Colin told hosts Ant and Dec: "I’m absolutely astonished. The backing I’ve had has been fantastic.”
"We've got a new centre that we've been wanting to build, a visitors centre, activity centre. I'd love to think that I set the whole thing off."
