Viewers are used to seeing the Britain’s Got Talent judge with a frown on his face, as he delivers his iconic line: “It’s a no from me.”
But in a recent group photo, fans were left feeling a little concerned over the appearance of Simon Cowell’s face.
Fellow judge David Walliams took to Instagram to share a sweet pic of the four judges grouped together backstage.
In the snap, Simon could be seen with his arms wrapped around funnyman David, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
But once they looked closely at the snap, fans couldn’t seem to get over the pose 59-year-old Simon was pulling with his face.
In the comment section, they took to their keyboards to question what had happened, and to check that the X Factor creator was feeling alright.
One said: “What’s wrong with Simon’s face…his eyes look weird? Is he OK?”
A second asked: “Holy c***, what happened to Simons Face?”
While a third remarked: “I was so preoccupied by Simon’s face I didn’t even notice Alesha is pregnant…”
And a fourth chipped in: “Goodness, what is happening to Simon’s face?”
The post signalled the kick-off of the spin-off show, Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, which begins filming later this year.
It will see some of the most legendary acts from the past 12 years of the series go head-to-head on stage, though the line-up has yet to be confirmed by ITV.
The ITV talent competition has made some major stars in its time, including songstress Susan Boyle and dance group Diversity.
Though a start date for the much-anticipated show has yet to be announced, viewers can expect to see it on their screens in the next few months.
