Bradley Walsh was back on Monday to present a classic episode of The Chase, which saw Ranjeev, Netrice, Linda, and Ian pit their wits against quizzer Paul “The Sinnerman” Sinha. The contestants had to work together while answering a set of general knowledge questions against the clock without being caught by Paul.
Ranjeev was the first player to take on The Chaser and he had a strong start after answering seven questions correctly in the cash builder round.
When faced with Paul, the quizzer gave Ranjeev a low offer of £700 and a high offer of £27,000.
However, he decided to play it safe and go for the £7,000 he’d already bagged.
Despite getting off to a great start, Ranjeev was no match for Paul and he was quickly knocked out and sent home.
Netrice was up next and answered a respectable five questions right in the cash builder.
The stay-at-home mum decided to play for Paul’s low offer of £1,000 in a bid to make it to the final.
However, Bradley took the opportunity to take a swipe at Netrice when she took too long to answer a question.
The host joked that he was going to retire “over here” as he pushed the player for an answer.
He asked: “Complete the title of the Channel 5 documentary series: ‘Who Needs a Man When You’ve Got a…?'”
After giving Netrice and Paul three possible answers, the timer began to count down.
However, after moments passed and Netrice failed to press her buzzer, the host joked: “I’ll just retire here.”
Although, despite taking her time to give her answer, Netrice got the question right.

The player also stumbled on a couple of questions against Paul, but in the end, she sailed through to the final.
Things didn’t go so well for Linda as she was also knocked out by the Sinnerman.
The pressure was on Ian, who answered six questions correctly in the cash builder round.
He decided to play for the £6,000 he’d already won, although, he admitted to being tempted by Paul’s high offer of £79,000.
Ian made it to the final and teamed up with Netrice to try and win their jackpot of £7,000.
However, the pair were faced with a set of tough questions as they tried to answer as many as they could within two minutes.
Paul also seemed to struggle with his questions as he went up against the clock.
Although, the duo were no match for the Sinnerman as he managed to answer his questions before the time ran out.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
