BIG Brother bosses axed the show's popular live stream to keep the results of the back-door eviction under wraps.

Airing the segment ahead of eviction night would give away the eliminated housemate.

A Big Brother fan account posted to X/Twitter: "There will be NO Big Brother Live Stream tonight as one housemate will be EVICTED tonight, which will be shown on tomorrow nights highlights show.

"The evicted housemate will be interviewed on tomorrows Late & Live."

Big Brother viewers did not agree with the show's decision to axe the live stream. one fan said: "A joke. Could have all been done during Late & Live then it would be great feeds after.

"What's the point in a shock eviction if you wait 24 hours to talk to the evictee? – this is two fingers up to the fans."

Another fan poked fun at the live stream writing: "Yeah that’s fine. As let’s be real if they had gone ahead with the live stream tonight after the backdoor eviction it’d probably all be birdsong anyway."

Viewers previously complained that the live stream was pointless as the segment was filled with "bird noises".

One fan took to X writing: "I've never been more jealous of people's ability to lip read than I am during the Big Brother live stream."
