ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 is officially a go, and fans can’t wait to see who’s hitting the beach during the summer of 2022. Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette brought several fantastic contestants into the public eye — and we hope to see them in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast. Here are our top three picks for men we want to see this season.
Brandon Jones should join the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 8 cast
Brandon Jones was the runner-up on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette. His boyish charm and genuine love for Michelle quickly made him a fan-favorite cast member from the season, and fans would love to see him join the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast.
Is it possible Brandon will hit the beach during the summer of 2022 with other Bachelor Nation contestants? So far, it seems he’s single, so there’s a high probability production will ask him to join the cast.
Additionally, Brandon has shown interest in Serene Russell from Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor. “Yoo I might have a new favorite,” Monsters & Critics reports Brandon commented on a photo of Serene that Clayton posted. If Serene also joins the cast, that’s a perfect match.
Olumide Onajide was a fan favorite from Michelle Young’s season
Aside from Brandon Jones, Olumide Onajide was another favorite from Michelle Young’s season — and we hope to see him as part of the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast. Currently, it appears Olu is still single, so there’s a chance he could join the season.
Bustle reports some fans would love for Olu to find love with previous Bachelorette Tayshia Adams. The two reportedly talked during the Men Tell All for Michelle’s season, and some fans thought they saw a few sparks of chemistry between them. Plus, now that Tayshia’s single, there’s also the chance she could join the Bachelor in Paradise cast. Becca Kufrin was the first Bachelorette to join the cast during season 7, and Tayshia could make history again with her appearance.
Rodney Mathews should also join the cast
Rodney Mathews made a mark during Michelle Young’s season — and he’d be the perfect fit for the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast. His fun-loving personality shined while on The Bachelorette, and he left the show with grace. Additionally, he still seems to have a great relationship with several men he competed against during his season. On March 27, he posted a photo with Brandon Jones, Joe Coleman, and winner Nayte Olukoya.
Because of Rodney’s respectful attitude toward Michelle both on and off the show, we hope to see him find love this summer. During The Bachelor Love on Stage Tour, Rodney hinted he might be open to getting back in the game with the franchise.
“I’m always open to [love],” Rodney said, according to Us Weekly. “I’m really hoping to find it. I think have a weird feeling; I feel like this is my year. I’m going to speak it into existence, manifest it.”
The ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 8 premiere date will likely be in August 2022
“It’s the announcement you’ve been waiting for … #BachelorInParadise is headed back to the beach for another season!” ABC announced on April 7, 2022.
When does Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 premiere? So far, ABC hasn’t given an official date for the show’s return. But fans can expect the premiere to happen at some point in late August or early September 2022. The Bachelorette 2022 premieres on July 11, 2022, and Bachelor in Paradise will premiere after this.
