ANT McPartlin has denied “disrespecting a court” after he skipped the latest hearing in his divorce from Lisa Armstrong.

Instead of attending the Royal Courts of Justice this morning, Ant went on a walk with his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett.

Lisa attended the hearing and Ant, 42, was later blasted by the judge for not showing up.

Mr Justice Mostyn asked in court: “Why is he not here? There isn't one law for the famous and one for the rest of the community.

“The rules say he was supposed to be here – and that can be reported. He has been told off.”

Tonight Ant has hit back however and his representative said he was told he didn’t have to attend.

In a statement, his representative said: “Ant was advised by his media barrister that he didn't need to attend court today.

“There was absolutely no intent to disrespect the court.”

Lisa was granted a divorce last month over the I’m A Celeb star’s adultery and because he was “intolerable to live with”.

Their 11-year marriage came to end in just 30 seconds and Ant, 42, raised no objections to Lisa's claims and neither attended the hearing at London's Central Family Court.
