Alison Hammond has reached out to Ruth Langsford amid rumours she's "replaced her" on ITV programme This Morning.

The 45-year-old television star gushed over one of Ruth's recent Instagram photograph, sending her love after it was claimed she was being axed from the show.

It's been reported that Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes have been "sacked" from This Morning and are being "replaced" by Alison and former X Factor host Dermot O'Leary.

The presenter commented on a recent fashion snap on Ruth's Instagram page with a sweet compliment, writing: "What a beauty," alongside a heart emoji.
