Kicking off the new episode of the NBC show is the King Fu Fam, which is made of a kung fu expert known as The Modern Shaolin and his 11-year-old son, The Young Warrior.
AceShowbiz -“America’s Got Talent” aired its seventh night on Tuesday, July 13. In the new outing, more acts hit the stage in hopes to be sent to the next round by the judges, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel. If they were lucky, they would also be getting the coveted Golden Buzzer.
Kicking off the night was the King Fu Fam, which was made of a kung fu expert known as The Modern Shaolin and his 11-year-old son, The Young Warrior. Their martial arts performance was a mix of strength and acrobatic skills. The father-and-son duo moved to the next round with four yes votes.
Later, Hiplet Ballerinas took the stage to bring something new as they blended hip-hop and ballet in their performance. Loving it, Simon said that it was a “really, really good audition.” Earning four yes votes, the group was sent to the next round. A long montage of acts who got buzzed then was shown.
Following it up was singer Sarah Potenza. Singing a song called “Worthy”, Sarah showed off her stunning singing skills that earned her a standing ovation from all four judges. “This is the perfect moment for you to be here,” Sofia gushed. “Your voice is stunning. The song choice was great. You have a great personality. You were extraordinary,” Simon added. Unsurprisingly, Sarah moved on.
Also offering an impressive audition that night were kid dancers Michael and Angelina. Joining Michael and Angelina in the next round was Erlich. As he made illuminated poles float, he danced in the darkness which was just beatiful . “That is an art form I don’t think we’ve ever seen,” Howie praised him. “I loved it. Thank you for being here.” Erlich got all yes votes from the judges.
The next act was Hello Sister, which is a band made up of young girls. They performed an original song titled “Middle Schooler”. Simon and Sofia loved it, thought it was different for Howie and Heidi. Simon and Sofia gave them yes votes, while the other judges were hesitant. However, after the audience boo-ed them, Simon and Sofia gave the band yes votes.
Actor Michael Winslow made a return as he showcased his incredible talents as a “voicetrumentalist.” Simon said that he’s “ecstatic” to have Winslow on the show. The judges gave the “Police Academy” star four yes votes that sent him to the next round. Up next was mentalist Kevin Micoud. He asked Heidi and Sofia to choose from an array of past “AGT” performers and then he “transferred” their choices into host Terry Crews‘ brain. They were mindblown and gave Kevin four yes votes.
Scarlett Business is both a hand-standing contortionist and drag queen. Scarlett’s performance was loved by the judges and they gave Scarlett four yes votes. Later, Ray Singleton took the stage to sing an emotional rendition of “I Am Yours”. Ray was sent to the next round with yes votes from the four judges.
