ADELE has given her strongest indication she will not tour again by closing her firm.

The singer, 30, had logged her earnings from live performances in Remedy Touring LLP.

But on Friday she applied to have the business put into voluntary liquidation.

The most recent accounts, filed last February, revealed she had a £142million turn-over from shows in 2016 to 2017.

She performed 121 gigs on her Adele Live tour from February 2016 to June 2017, entertaining more than 1.5 million people worldwide.

Adele admitted on stage in March 2017 that she was unsure if she would return, saying: “Touring isn’t something I’m good at. Applause makes me feel vulnerable.

I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you.”

Adele, with hit singles such as Someone Like You, Hello and Skyfall, has sold 100 million records.

Her three albums have spent 37 weeks at No 1 since 2008.

London-based Remedy Touring launched in 2015 in her full name, Adele Adkins.

But she has filed a declaration of solvency and appointed a voluntary liquidator.
