  • DO IT WITH FLAIR

NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair has been opening up about WrestleMania 36.

She told ESPN's Get Up: “It was a different environment, but I looked at it as an opportunity to show how talented I was to perform where that I didn't need a live audience to feed off of or to bring that intensity.

“People have to understand that even if there's not a live audience, there's millions watching at home, and when you watch a fight scene on a movie, you don't ever think of an audience, so that's how I approached the match, and I thought it was an opportunity, you know, to highlight just my level of performance as an entertainer.”

  • TALKING SMACK

WWE are reportedly planning to film SmackDown in a secret behind closed doors location this week after WrestleMania 36.

Vince McMahon was forced to move production of the Showcase of the Immortals from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to the company's Performance Center due to the coronavirus pandemic.

WWE have filmed both nights of the Show of Shows as well as the RAW after Mania at their training facility.

Yet plans to tape SmackDown at the Performance Center were nixed when Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ordered a statewide lockdown until April 30.

Yet according to highly respected wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, WWE is still set to film Friday's episode of the Blue brand this week.

He told the Wrestling Observer Radio that McMahon's company are trying to keep the location of the tapings secret, although it is said to be held in a shutdown state.

“This has genuinely been my lifelong dream to even get a shot, but if I can pull it off and the idea that I can be the first…

“I didn't realise I was the first British Royal Rumble winner until after the match goes because I was so focused on trying to become the first guy from Britain to win the WWE title so I was like “oh my god I can't believe I made history” and that's such a cool thing.”
