WWE Superstar Samoa Joe is up for joining Roman Reigns’ stable alongside The Usos if the stars all align.
The Raw ace, real name Nuufolau Joel Seanoa, shares proud Samoan heritage with the Big Dog and his cousins Jimmy and Jey.
But while Joe, who is close to recovering from a thumb injury, battles opponents on Monday Night Raw, Reigns and the Usos work on SmackDown.
Right now the numbers don’t add up. But the former United States Champion is open to a sensational future with three three-man wrecking team.
The night before the Royal Rumble, Joe told SunSport: “It’s hyperbole right now because I am a Raw guy and they are SmackDown guys.
"There are just so many other things going on right now that it seems like one of those far-fetched theories.
“But who knows what the future will bring, who knows.”
Seth has been a bar for excellence in this industry and anytime you get the opportunity to work with a guy like that, you relish and appreciate it
Once Joe’s digit is back to firing on all cylinders, the fans’ favourite is set to go to war with Reigns' former Shield partner Seth Rollins.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu and submission master is expected to create fireworks with The Architect and Joe is ready for the rivalry to blow the WWE universe away.
He said: “Absolutely it whets my appetite.
"Seth has been a bar for excellence in this industry and anytime you get the opportunity to work with a guy like that, you relish and appreciate it.”
During Joe’s lay-off he remained on the road as an excellent member of the commentary team.
The 6ft 2in powerhouse blew everyone away with his way with words and earned himself a rewarding comparison to a former star of the ring and microphone.
He said: “The commentary experience was great and it is fun. It is a great opportunity to help guys tell their stories.

“I was pleased with the Taz comparison, he was very much in the same vein where he has a very analytical eye and he can get in there and break things down.
“I don’t think Taz was too pleased with the comparison but I was, he is awesome and a great brother.”
